The Christmas Prayer Tree is a joint intitiative between The Mall Shopping Centre, St Mary's Parish Church, and the Luton Town Centre Chaplaincy.  Launched this year on Sunday 4th December, shoppers can come along to The Mall Information Desk and pick up a Christmas bauble with a prayer tag attached, write their own prayer if they wish, and then hang it on the tree.  Since it's launch, over 1000 people have written their personal prayers to put on the tree - prayers which will be taken to St Mary's on Christmas Eve where a team will begin to pray the prayers.
